@Crimson Wife: Fresno High is a beautiful campus, and is NOT ugly. You obviously haven’t seen Royce Hall, the auditorium and the gym. They are all lovely, no need to judge.

Is there any reason why California public schools are so ugly? Every time I see one, I just come away depressed :-(

I attended public school growing up and the facilities were pleasant-looking. Not as country-clubbish as the local private prep schools, but they were still pretty nice.
