		<description>Wait a second... so it&#039;s OK to lobby shamelessly for socially useless, paper-pushing $68,000-a-year jobs for Sallie Mae employees, but it&#039;s NOT OK to push for equivalent pay levels for teachers on the front lines in our classrooms?

To paraphrase the bumper stickers, it will be a great day when the financial services sector has to hold a bake sale to fund positions for third-party loan servicing and when our classroom teachers are paid an appropriate, even generous, wage.</description>
