John is one of the most knowledgeable education journalists writing on California education issues. He use to blog and write for the San Jose Mercury News, but like many newspapers, good content has been the victim of budget cuts. He started the Education Guest blog during his time at the Mercury, but had to stop last year. Congrats to John for finding a new place to blog.
